Other names: Achillea millefolium, milfoil, noble yarrow, nosebleed, thousand leaf, millefolium, and dozens of other names.  That it has so many common and folk names is a testament to its widespread use and acceptance.

Magical Uses: When worn or carried, yarrow will protect a person from harm, grant courage, and stave fear.   Dried yarrow over the bed or in wedding decorations will promote a long lasting love.  It will attract love, friends, and relations with whom you'd like contact.  It makes you more visible to those who you want to see you.

When drunk as an infusion, yarrow may increase psychic powers. 

Yarrow in an incense or sprig can be used to exorcise evil and negativity from a person, place, or thing.
